  i have always asked myself, why does the society not agree with the amount of time archeologists say dinosaurs and other species roamed the earth?

  they agree the earth has existed for maybe billions of years.

  The society has to maintain and support the bible's chronology for the simple reason that is what they have structured themselves on

  to do otherwise would only weaken formation.

  Plus to the fact none of the leaders of this group will not study any science like geology, biology to any extent, these sciences are not empowering to them so why bother.

  why would anyone study a science that would weaken your obtained power, there is a under lining reason to maintain the status quo.

  This is the soul reason that religions like this will not accept or support scientific knowledge even to the outer regions of common sense.

  Thankfully mankind has finally removed the box that religion has placed over us for generations and now we can see what a fascinating world we live in.

  even my mother, who has been disfellowshipped for nearly 20 years still calls sites and literature like this "apostate".

  I'm sure this situation came up to their spin department in Brooklyn and they handed the problem over to their specialists

  It does sound that the WTS was caught with their hands in the cookie jar and they are trying to spin their way out of it.

  It's a case of blatant hypocrisy.

  By the way for them to say that the U.N. is an organization controlled by Satan or whatever is total rubbish

  The U.N. was set up to help countries resolve their problems and make the world a better place in doing so

  hardly what you would consider evil or wrong in ideology.

  the wt always put a lot of importance on the subject that jesus was not born the 25 of dec. now my question is why is there two different stories in the bible about jesus birth?

  in luke 2 there is one story and in matthew there is an other.

  in luke it says that jesus was born during a census when quirinius was governing syria but in matthew it says that he was born when herod the great was still alive.

  OK it's well established that Christendom has the actual date wrong why doesn't God send a message by virtue of his holly spirit to correct the situation

  And secondly why was the son of God born in a dirty manger/barn with allot of donkey and goat shit all over the place, doesn't sound very sanitary

  we see alot of topics on the board about the end of the wbt$..i don`t think that will happen in our lifetime........so..lets change our focus..kingdom halls are getting fewer and fewer jw`s in them..congregations are being dissolved and kingdom halls are sold off..many jw`s are very unhappy and we see alot of them on this board.....the wbt$ is a billion dollar organization,they will survive for along time to come..........how about the jehovah`s witness`s?.......with fewer and fewer members..information about the wbt$ on the internet..and..some very depressed jehovah`s witness`s looking for a way out of the cult they are in.....will the "jehovah`s witness`s" survive?...outlaw

  The WT kingdom may be on a slide downward particular in the North America region due to the social awareness of cults like this and others.

  But as you mentioned they have accumulated millions from their marketing trickery and they could easily skip town and move to another place if desired.

  Those men that are in power at headquarters of course will try as long as they can to sit there, some have spent decades waiting to possibly have a chance.

  Once a man has taken a seat of power it's pretty hard to knock him off as you know..

  Another thing that has to be mentioned also is this organization is a working livelihood for people, the privileged people at the top for example are getting food clothing and cars

  and trips aboard. Jehovah has provide well to has faithful ones, indeed
